Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield is prominently situated on the busy Church Hill, on the fringe of the popular ‘village’ of Tatsfield, between Biggin Hill, Oxted and Westerham.
The nursery provides facilities for children aged from 3 months through to preschool age and is registered as GOOD with Ofsted.
We have dedicated rooms for our various age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our facilities are designed to be accessible to every child. Alongside our dedicated rooms for Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children, Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield also offers several amazing outdoor spaces and gardens for the children to explore, including our own Forest School, run by our own fully qualified Forest School instructor.

🌳Green Tree Awards🌳
We are now striving for out Platinum Green Tree Award, so the Wildlife Trust sent us some saplings to plant. The children all got involved and planted Hazel, Crab Apple and Rowan trees for both of our gardens!

The nursery all celebrated Fireworks/Bonfire Night - exploring different colours and numerous ways to create patterns! Preschool used real flowers to stamp with paint to create 'fireworks' and babies looked at colours using rice as well as water!

🧙♀️Halloween Hats🧙♀️
The children took part in a group creative activity for Halloween, creating their own 'witches hats', investigating different collage materials and mark making as well as writing using our feltip pens. The children explore using different tools with support from an adult (scissors to cut, stapler, tape, glue and spreader).

✨A snippet of Autumn✨
The nursery have been exploring the change in season! Preschool have created a hibernation station, continued to look after their vegetables and herbs they are growing, as well as building a birds nest. Babies and Toddlers have been exploring their senses with all natural objects!

The children helped Bryan prep their lunch by helping peel and cut all of the vegetables ready for the Mediterranean Pasta Bake. They was taught how to safely use the tools and thoroughly enjoyed the process!
