Our Artist of the Month programme introduces children to a different artist each month, encouraging them to explore new styles, techniques, and ideas. Using the featured artist as inspiration, children express their creativity through hands-on art activities, developing their imagination, confidence, and appreciation for the world of art.

Our sensory room offers a calming and engaging space where children can explore a range of light-up resources and sensory equipment designed to stimulate curiosity and support development. This immersive environment encourages relaxation, focus, and sensory discovery, giving children the opportunity to regulate their emotions, build concentration, and enjoy a unique, soothing learning experience.

At Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield, outdoor learning is central to our approach, with multiple outdoor spaces designed to inspire exploration, play, and wellbeing. Through our Forest School programme, children engage in hands-on, nature-based experiences such as fire cooking, safe tool use, and planting, helping to build confidence, resilience, and a deep connection to the natural world. Our dedicated preschool garden, shaped by the children’s own ideas, brings learning to life through growing areas and imaginative spaces like our Fairy Garden, creating meaningful, real-world learning every day.

We are proud to offer two thoughtfully designed outdoor gardens, giving every child the space to explore and thrive at their own stage of development. Our smaller, dedicated garden provides a safe and nurturing environment just for pre-school children, supporting their growing independence, while our expansive main garden is a hub of adventure featuring a mud kitchen, enchanting fairy world, built-in sandpit, climbing frames, and vibrant planting areas. Here, children can dig, create, and grow, developing a hands-on connection with nature as part of their everyday learning, whatever the weather.
