The children enjoyed their creative activity making there own 'polar bear' pictures using a range of different tools and materials to dip and stamp onto their paper. They would count on googly eyes and stick on fluffy cotton wool pads for ears or paws. They have been learning and talking about arctic animals this week and the cold habitats they live in.

🥶Brrr...Snowy and Icy Activities in Preschool🥶
The children have been busy in preschool with various ice/snow related activities! They made their own ice where they was given the tools to pour water into their moulds and place lots of different objects inside. Preschool then used hammers to smash the ice the next day which of course they loved!

Welcome back Preschool!🎨
Today the children explored using pieces of Christmas tree in different activities, like dipping it into coloured paints to make marks and splatter pictures whilst exploring colour mixing/changes. Scissor practice cutting up pieces of Christmas tree and mixing in our science area, making potions while also learning about up cycling and re using materials by cutting up our shiny Christmas cracker waste to use to create collage mosaic pictures.

We would like to say a BIG thankyou to all of our lovely parents that got involved in bringing a toy/clothes to be donated to children that are less fortunate.
The team at Salvation Army was delighted with the collection and told me to tell you that 'your all stars'. She said that some of the clothes will be donated to pregnant women too - SO A MASSIVE WELL DONE!
