Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield is prominently situated on the busy Church Hill, on the fringe of the popular ‘village’ of Tatsfield, between Biggin Hill, Oxted and Westerham.
The nursery provides facilities for children aged from 3 months through to preschool age and is registered as GOOD with Ofsted.
We have dedicated rooms for our various age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our facilities are designed to be accessible to every child. Alongside our dedicated rooms for Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children, Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield also offers several amazing outdoor spaces and gardens for the children to explore, including our own Forest School, run by our own fully qualified Forest School instructor.

Pre school have been investigating clay, selecting different shape cutters to cut out our shapes and to make prints. They freely create their own clay hangers and explore different materials to push into their clay (gems, sequins, glitter and small coloured eggs) The children used different tools to create and adapt their own work (cutting with a knife, pushing in shape cutters, rolling flat with a rolling pin and using our clay boards). This activity encouraged lots of different language and group conversation “I want glitter in the tube”, letters” ,one more birdie “I’m doing two eggs” I made a rectangle picture look” look I made a cross “I want to heart to colour” we need to make a hole to hang it on a tree, or it will just fall off” We discussed what will happen to our clay hangers when they are dry and are learning about how it will set hard. ... ❤️A little snippet of August in our Baby room❤️
A fun filled month for our babies this August - their theme was heavily focused on Animals due to the children's current interests! They explored all kinds of animals, provided with different learning opportunities to expand their knowledge and speech! They absolutely loved creating animal footprints with paint, breaking the animals out of jelly and lots more!

Preschool absolutely loved their trip to London Biggin Hill Airport so much so that they wanted to create their own 'aircraft’s' and then they had a launching competition to see how far they could throw them and counted how many steps away they were.
