Amber

Preschool Room Leader

Amber is our Preschool Room Leader and has been working in Early Years for 11 years. She began her journey as an apprentice in the baby room, before progressing to Deputy Room Leader in the toddler room and then becoming Room Leader. Amber now leads our preschool room, where she brings enthusiasm, creativity and a real passion for helping children prepare for their next steps.

Amber loves making a positive impact on young children’s lives and enjoys being part of their learning and development every day. She particularly loves spending time outdoors, getting messy in the garden and creating exciting experiences for the children. She chose a career in Early Years because she wanted a role where she could grow and progress, while also making a real difference.

Amber holds a Level 3 qualification and is currently studying towards her Level 5 in Leadership in Early Years. She is also our Sustainability Officer, helping to encourage eco-friendly practices and a love of the natural world throughout the nursery. Amber speaks English.

Outside of work, Amber is a keen wildlife photographer who loves foraging and spending time in nature. Her special interest is birds of prey, and she enjoys sharing her passion for wildlife with the children whenever she can.

Amber loves working at Tatsfield because of its beautiful location and large garden, which provide the perfect setting for outdoor learning and adventure.
